Kampong Solo Ride

Sunday morning a Friend from KPMG Brunei called me to join them for a ride to Seria, but today i'm on "Country" mode, feel like to go for a back-road ride, hopped-on my wheels and search for my country route....

Destination : KASAT....a kampong near Brunei & Malaysia border....

going any further pass this area, will consider illegal-entry to Malaysia, or maybe i can go from the other road......

another dead-end...or maybe i can sneaked pass the control post and have a beer in Limbang.....

New 2011 Sportster 883 SuperLow...?

Few days back, a friend told me that Harley-Davidson is going to launch a NEW 2011 Sportster called XL883L SuperLow, woo..."SUPER LOW" sounded cool... so after some net-surfing and studied the spec of the bike.......i was mumbling with " what the FXXX !!? " Harley-Davidson has done it again by giving the customers "CRAP"...

The "So-Called" SUPER LOW is basically a normal Sportster 883 Low with low-profile tires, replaced the legendary Peanut Tank with a 4 gallons + Sportster 883 Classic tank and finished with some diferent paint scheme ( which any Sportster Owner can do it to their bike) and Harley-Davidson claimed it a NEW model, oh please...even any Taiwan motorcycle company can do better than this....and after searching around i just can't see where the SUPER LOW is, a basic Sportster 883 Low is way lower than the SUPER LOW.........

as a SPORTSTER IRON owner, i have only one advice for those Harley R&D guys or who ever in-charge in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, pleassssse.. give us a product that we Harley owners can feel proud about, and stop "Creating" rubbish.....

i'm not complaining about the bike but HD guys just simply label a current model with a new name, and start selling it to the market.....no wondered theres a joke about Harley-Davidson are selling out-dated products with 2011 price.....

More Long Ride..?

Is has been almost a month since we did the Sandakan road trip, and everyone should have recovered from it so is about time to plan for the next run...me & my mates are planning some thing different this time....something liked riding in some other foreign country instead of in BORNEO only.....maybe in Bali...or Kuantan.....or Chiang Mai....or do what Top Gear did, ride from Ho Chi Ming City to Hanoi......em..em..just wonder where should we ride.....? Any good suggestion....?

but it actually happened in real life in some 3rd world country.....maybe influenced by Jeremy & James....

Hungry Ghosts Festival

The Chinese Hungry Ghosts Festival will start from today for the next 30 days, so some advice for those who only have time to ride at night....when you have to ride at night you better dress like the two dudes below to blend-in..... or the 3rd guy in the video below might race with you.....

INDIES CYCLES CO. OPENING (officially)

The Indies Cycles Co. official opening on 8th August, all bikers community in the nation are invited for the opening from 7pm till 11pm...

the guys are busying prepare the place for the opening which expect some hundreds to turn-out....

prayer before the night fall, hope every things go well...

Sunday Taco Ride..

have a sudden urge for TACO while enjoying my Sunday solo-ride, so pop-over to the Taco place that Ray mentioned in his blog...but too bad it's closed today and i'm not the only one who's disappointed, Ray & his mates were there and obviously he also didn't know the place was closed too...hehehehe

last minute stand-in Mexican dude entertaining us.....

Mexica Dude : sorry Amigos, today closed my boss said come back tomorrow she give you free TACO....

practice make perfect...

preparing the Street Rat for my mate to polish-up his gear & clutch coordination practice before he get his manual shifter bike...is a big step for him to get from scoot to a huge street bike...so more practice for him....

so far he looks alright to me...soon he'll be flying...

Congratulation to dude JL for converting to be a "XJARIEN" ( XJR owners) by getting himself a Yamaha XJR1300 as his birthday gift...

obviously riding a Yamaha XJR is a growing trend now,with the rate its going right now, soon the new XJR's price will shoot-up like rocket and the road will invaded by XJARIENs......

The side effect is gradually growing stronger, not only it effected JW to get a Supermotard, even SPARK has become the victim of it, he is planning to sell-off his Dragstar 1100 and thinking of getting something like Honda Pen European or Yamaha FJR 1300........
