Sunday Dual Sport Run

Weather is perfect for trail riding, so some of us will want to try out our newly acquired Trail Bikes and to get use of riding tail bike for long distant, so today we planed to do a 100 miles on & off-road ride from one district to another.....

and our 1st Stop at Tasek Merimbun before we start to torture our body on the off-road trail...

Our targeted destination, the Lamunin - Labi logging trail...some called it "Jalan Tikus"... surface condition is good for dirt bikes but surely kill any street bikes.....
yes the rain in coming....
i always love to ride in the rain to feel the wetness and smell the cool air...but too bad is only a very short fall....
once out of the trail, is time for the Famous Sg. Liang road-side fried Kuah Tiew stall....and take the time to ease my aching butt too.....
on the way back, dropped by Tutong Town to checked out the 4x4 competition....

not as quick as the one before....

Yamaha FZ16

FZ16 - another Indian made Yamaha entry-level naked bike brought in by the local Yamaha dealer, and this one is inspired by its bigger brother the FZ1 with a slogan of " Load of the street ". although its only a 160cc bike but with its bigger 140mm rear tire and a more muscular front end, it definitely looked much more better than its cousin the R15 ( the other Yamaha small displacement sport bike wanna-be ), and the best thing is the price is much cheaper than its cousin too....

Cross-Border Wedding Ride

Sunday 7am...we are going to escort a biker friend of us who is getting married today....at Limbang Sarawak....so boys meet up for breakfast before we head to the Brunei Malaysia border for our mission....
but before ride to the border, we noticed the street is empty without any traffic at this early hour.....as a VAIN biker, so we decided to use the street as our private studio for some photo shooting.....

after some dashing in & out, lane splitting at the Border Check Point with long traffic jam, we were at the groom's place and ready to carry out our mission to escort him to the bride's home for the wedding.....
some other bike clubs were also invited to escort the groom......
the norm..waiting is the game...
if we have to wait, guys might aswell do some tuning to the bikes......

finally the Groom is done and ready to meet his princess.....
as a biker himself, the groom will do pre-ride briefing for the journey.....

finally we have complete our mission of escorting the groom to the wedding venue.....with some minor incidents along the way....

a minor incident happened to a Temburong Biker's member during the journey....but luckily nothing too serious....
settled-down at our "VIP" tent with private table, seats and natural air-conditioning...
Chow Time again.......

as usual a traditional Malay wedding lunch under the tents which divided into the male & female sections....and buffet style of delicious authentic Malay dishes ....

the newly-wed out to thanks all the bikers for their efforts...
More group photos with the newly-wed before we head back to cross the border.....and again all the best to both of u..

MOTUL For Harley

While at the Brunei 1st Bike Week, pay a visit to the local newly appointed MOTUL Motor Oil distributor's booth, and according to the MOTUL Singapore representative, he highly recommended the MOTUL 300V & 7100 Fully Synthese for Harley Davidson motorcycle as a alternative motor oil..

so far i haven't done any research yet, not sure how the oil works...so if interested just check it out in the MOTUL official web or just simply ask the boss of "SOON TECK MOTORS" the local MOTUL distributor.....
